Our story began in Durham City, just minutes from the Market Place and Millennium Square. Tia’s Durham is an intimate, 50-seat cantina bursting with traditional charm and character.

2026 marks a huge milestone — our 30th birthday — and we’re celebrating in style with a brand-new, much larger venue in the heart of Newcastle.
Located in The Gate leisure complex, Tia’s Newcastle brings the same incredible food and drinks to a bigger, bolder and livelier space.
With a late licence, the fiesta doesn’t stop — every Friday and Saturday night we turn up the music, raise the glasses and party into the early hours.
